Invitation ![]()
In the year 2010 the Leder- und Fetisch-Community (LFC) invites you to a big event and get together, the LFC Bike & Fun 2010. More than a hundred bike riders will meet for 5 days in the beautiful and bikefriendly Weser Hills to undertake varied tours and spend nice evenings together. They will stay in the medieval Tonenburg castle in Höxter-Albaxen, very well known among bikers, located slightly above the banks of Weser river. The Weser Hills have a well developped touristical infrastructure. The Tonenburg castle, which we have chosen for you, is a hotel especially for bikers. On the Weser river, which has that name only from the confluence of Werra and Fulda rivers, there are boat trips available. And some interesting ferries, without engine and hanging on a long rope, help you from one bank to the other (their name in German is "Gierseil-Fähre"). We shall use them sometimes. The rides lead along the rivers and to various mountains, for example the Köterberg (Damn Dog Mountain - 1600 ft.), a popular biker meeting point, or the Hoher Meissner (High Meissner - 2500 ft.), and you will visit some other castles and fortresses. |

![]() In the short term, we had to change the accommodation. We will now stay in the biker's hotel Villa Löwenherz (Villa Lionheart), situated in a short distance from the originally planned site of the "Tonenburg" and similarly situated in the Weser Mountains. All tours are available almost the same way as prepared, despite the change of location. |
